Keyshia Cole has definitely making big moves with her current album Just Like You. Since its September release, the album has 4 sucessful singles. Cole has been dubbed as the new Mary J. Blige. That’s an unfair title since MJB is still doing her thing but it’s nice to know that there is something spawned from the queen of Hip-Hop soul. Enjoy.

I watched Keyshia Unplugged last week, and I thought to myself, “She is like a new Mary J.” Needless to say, I like her a little more now.

Keyshia is herself, and she never apologizes for that. After watching her show on BET I have a lot of respect for her. She knows where she’s been, and she knows where she wants to go. I think Keyshia (Lil’ Mary J.) has a very bright future ahead if her.

Now you know that this is my girl !!!! I’ve loved Keyshia from the start, and I believe that there is nothing but good things in her future! Keyshia is Keyshia, and she is making a name for herself, she’s got her own thing going on, despite the heavy influence of Mary, Keyshia has her own original vibe. That is what I love about her. She recognizes and acknowledges her influences, but does her OWN thing!!
