Tyler Perry’s films are truly in a league of its own at the box office. I didn’t get a chance to see Meet The Brown’s but The Family That Preys gives me a vibe that it will a whole lot different than the rest of his work. What is shocking to most people is that up until a few weeks ago I had never seen a Tyler Perry play. Already a fan of Sanaa Lathan, Alfre Woodard and Rockmond Dunbar, The Family That Preys is on my list of films to see this fall. Check out the new movie trailer and tell me what you think.

is it just me or are movie previews getting more and more appealing? lol. Seriously, after seeing that I am really amped about seeing this movie. The cast line up is pretty damn good too. Tyler is really doing his things. Gotta support the brothas.

This is the movie that will please all Tyler Perry movie and play goers…Especially “mainstream”, who perhaps didn’t think Mr. Perry had the capabilities of sucessfully making a movie that, if you will, cross-over toward the standards of all people. Remaining an “urban based” playwriter, with a twist, a gift from God, and a talent unimaginable…
The best is still yet to come… Keep your hats on !!! The cast is proof in the pudding that “Through God all things are Possible”. A MUST SEE MOVIE !!!

Rich – we definitely gotta support our brothas. I agree. I love that that they have Rihanna’s “Rehab” in the trailer. That makes it even more exciting and puts so many ideas in my head about the story.

I am usually really excited about Tyler Perry bringing out a new movie…This one seems interesting but it didn’t catch my attention. Although I do want to see how the title matches the trailer…I see no connection…um…Ryan and Rich we have to support Black people period NOT just the BROTHERS!…lol
